Spring will soon be here

A Pug's life is kinda of boring during the Winter but I know that Valentine's day is near so Spring is just around the corner.  I do not really know what Valentine's day is but I usually see alot of hearts, flowers and candy on this day.  None of it is for me but it is a fun day nevertheless.  Hugs and PUG kisses to everyone.

Nightmare on Elm Street 2009

In 2009 the movie remake of NOES was filmed in our neighborhood for about 2 weeks.  Porkchop was asked to be an extra in a daytime scene which unfortunately was cut from the movie.  He even received a $15 paycheck for his participation.  In honor of that event, Porkchop dressed as Freddy for Halloween that year.

As you can imagine the kids in the neighborhood were delighted with this costume.  We had several other Freddies that year even though most were not allowed to watch the movie.

Porkchop LOVES Halloween/Men in Black

Porkchop Pug loves no Holiday more then Halloween.  He appears in a new costume every year and has even won awards for his Halloween appearance.  For 2010 he was Frank, the pug from "Men in Black".  He answers the door for everyone who knocks and he checks out their costumes.  If he could hand out the candy he would.   Halloween was mild this year at Porky's house so he enjoyed visits from about 200 Kids.
He can hardly wait till next year.

Porkchop the Pug and Christmas

This is the first post in a blog about Porkchop the Pug.  He lives in the Midwest and for a pug, he leads a pretty exiciting life.  He has traveled around the USA, been a paid extra in a major motion picture and enriches the life of all who meet him around town or beyond.  Since Porkchop was born very close to Christmas, it is no surprise that this is his favorite time of year.
Waiting for Santa
Porkchop shows his excitement whenever Santa is mentioned.  He thinks that Santa "smells like meat and cheese" a line from his favorite Holiday movie Elf.

Christmas for Porkchop means that his entire Family of Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle T and his owner K will all be home for his enjoyment.

This will end our first post as we get the "hang" of this process.  Thanks for visiting and Porky says HI.
